2. Always a Gentleman: Ok, I love it when a man opens the door for me, or carries my bags, or even pours my water at the table before he pours his. It shows respect and thoughtfulness and an all around willingness to be kind. The other day I was having lunch with a friend and he tells me he is getting water, but comes back with only one cup, the one for him. And I thought to myself, hold up, what about me? I wanted some water too! Boys, where are your manners!

3. Keep Your Word: Now this one I know is a tough one for a lot of guys, even the foreign ones, but I have seen more of the latter do what they say no matter what. This is important to a woman because it shows integrity and character. It lets us know you are a man of your word, someone we can count on in time of need. On the other hand, when we see you not keeping your word, we find you go MIA a lot and then claim loss of short-term memory, funny how that happens. Boys, don’t be ridiculous!

All in all there are good men and bad men all over the world, but it sure is fun when you venture outside of your home turf and find out there is so much more available to you if you just are open to go outside your box and try someone new.
