• THEATRE! As low as $5

Many people are of the belief that theatre is on Broadway and it does exist there, but it also exists elsewhere. In NYC, for example, there’s so much theatre it’s too much. There are readings, short play fests, world premieres, Greek Classics, Shakespeare happening all around. This could be at an acting school, a college, in a church, in someone’s living room, a warehouse, a bar! That’s not even the off Broadway, or off off Broadway theatres. There is indie theatre happening in every single borough. It also happens in comedy schools. Yes, you think The PIT, UCB, Annoyance, Magnet, and Reckless are just improv and sketch? No! People put up plays, or perform their original TV pilots, or put up improvised plays. Comedy spaces have some of the best venues (paid, in part by their expensive classes and free labor I’m sure!). They also have some of the most affordable theatre. Sometimes it’s $20, but sometimes it’s $5! Get out of your apartment!

• Instagram Your Way…to living the life

I learned that when you go out alone and enjoy your life people start paying attention. Sometimes people get so busy with their lives that they forget you. Doesn’t make them terrible. It just means that we get self centered sometimes. How will they know you’re doing this? You have to Instagram them obviously. People see you living your life and they want to live your life too. You’ll find that you won’t be alone for too long. They’ll ask you, “How do you find out about all of these places?” You just tell them that you’re very dedicated to living your best life; therefore you do tons of research to enrich your experience in this world!
